Observation Medicine

Maryland- Medical Emergency Professionals (MEP) is looking for Nurse Practitioners to staff their new Observation Units. MEP is a growing privately owned and managed physician group in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the US. Successful candidates must have a valid MD NP license and experience in adult primary care. Emergency Medicine experience a plus.

MEP offers premium pay and excellent benefits, including paid time off, company paid A-rated malpractice coverage with paid tail. The Emergency Department at SMHC features a 35-bed main ED with a separate Fast Track area staffed by physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Annual ED volume is 63,000.
