Founded in 1997 by a small group of physicians who are passionate about emergency medicine, MEP has emerged as a leader and valued hospital partner. We attract some of the brightest and most qualified emergency physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants in the country. Currently, we treat more than 290,000 patients annually at five facilities in Maryland.
